Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic
Hi Lynn,
Minus 6 here this morning & hovering around zero now in the shade, the north side of my house roof is still white with frost, however beatiful sunny day & blue winter sky!!
My engine's a bit chilly in the workshop, as I can't get to the stove to light a fire & even if I could, I still have to clean up the area round the stove, else I'll burn down the workshop & house!!!
How's the decorative "repainting" going?
Regards,
Tony

Hi Tony
Leaving the exciter platform for a week to allow everything to settle. Then I will strip the offending side and redo.

Hi Lynn,
crystal is looking wonderful and your additional artwork is impressive shame you will have to repeat. However, it answers the question that I constantly get asked by friends and that is what are you going to do when it is finished. Clearly they will never be finished! Always something to tinker with.

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic
That is most of the stencils all weeded out and ready.
I should be ready for painting tomorrow. Just to lift the roof up a bit on some wooden cribbing. Then make sure the boards are fully cleaned ready for painting.

Lynn Robinson Showmans Scenic
Hi Lynn,
The stencil work looks great can't wait to see the finished signwriting on the canopy.
If you don't mind me asking what program on your computer did you use to design your stencils ?
Best Regards
Steve (Heavyhaul)

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic
Hi Steve
It is the software that came with the silhouette cameo cutter. Basic functionality. But as they say does what it says on the tin. I am using the "free" version. I may upgrade to the pro for more functionality but not hit a block yet so not spending until needed.

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic
Painting is progressing well. Now at the wait for it to dry stage.
Attaching the stencil
Filling in with paint.
Thats both sides done. Tea time
The roof does make a handy worktable. But just watch out for things rolling off.
