I once thought I'd clean some crud out of the battery tray in one of my old cars. Ended up taking the engine out and completely rebuilding it over the winter.
Shipwright's disease, that's what it is. Not a serious affliction, but it keeps you busy - and off the street in some cases

Been shooting...... Paint
First colour coat on the tank. Pre-heated with the hairdryer in the top. This allowed a quick tack coat then the buildup.
