i guess you could just do it with the wheels, spacers and wheel centres but then the wheels would stick out a bit more, but not by a lot.

if your anything like me, you won't be happy till it's just how you want it, so don't give up on the idea just yet

EDIT: you would gain about 2inch per side by just using the new wheels and spacers, new hubs would take this back in if clearance allows but it would be close. (i'd be happy to work it out properly if your interested)

the changes to the brake parts is an upgrade due to the lack of front brakes so you would not have to worry about those.
