PRESIDENT PHOTOS !!!

PS: could someone please confirm that you can view the album, these photo-bucket security setting can be a bit confusing

as previously stated, we did not manage to view the president ourselves but these images were kindly donated to us, i believe it was by a chap called Tony King (maybe Steve could confirm this). many thanks for the images

as you may know, the STW model will be based on this engine and the ex-mayor and Steve has given me a few notes to mention about the differences between this engine and the STW model.

Differences other than main roof etc.

1. no water pump (on president?) STW model has one.

2.two injectors. STW model will have one.

3. The President has internal spokes on the flywheel, Ex-Mayor has none, ours will have the spokes (unless the pattern cost is prohibitive)

4. front spectacle plate has four cut outs not two, STW will do both

5. front forks are different. STW will have president style fork.

hopefully Steve will correct or explain any of these points if necessary as to be honest, steam is not my strong point (ask me anything you like about minis )

Just a couple of minor corrections to Craigs post.

There's only one front fork.

A question for Craig on minis. Whats the shortest one you've seen?

Got the first meeting tomorrow (Sunday) with the chap who hopefully will be doing our Cylinder Pattern. Got to get up at 07:30 on a Sunday.

most short minis are cropped down like this...



but i have seen one cropped right to the tops of the pillars.

for many years the lowest mini was this...



but then someone did this...

Hi. Does anybody have a copy of the complete set of the detailed photos of The President they can make available? I am considering doing my RL in this livery and wanted to see more details.
