DCC BURRELL
MY SON AND I ARE THINKING OF PAINTING OUR ROAD ENGINE AS THE 'PRESIDENT'. I WOULD EXPECT THERE WILL BE QUITE A FEW OTHERS PAINTED THE SAME. I WONDERED IF ANYONE HAS ACESS TO DETAILED PHOTOGRAPHS OF LINING ETC. WE SHOULD HAVE PHOTOGRAPHED IT DURING THE RALLY SEASON BUT WE WERE NOT SURE WHICH ENGINE TO BASE IT ON AT THE TIME. I WILL PAY POSTAGE ETC. WE CANT WAIT TO GET STARTED. MANY THANKS DAVID WATTS.

Re: DCC BURRELL
Looks like a lot of us are going to choose "The President" paint option. If they ever hold an owners rally that really will be a sight to see. I believe that Steve and Dean are going on a photo taking mission of "The President" in the new year which has had to be postponed just recently. I'm sure someone who knows will confirm this. Once thats done we should get a set of pics like the one they have just sent out of "Ex Mayor".

Re: DCC BURRELL
David,
We originally planned to go up to Aberdeen to photograph 'The President' last week, but unfortunately the owner had to go away last minute. We are hoping to reschedule in the New Year and if everything goes to plan should have a nice few hundred photo's for you to mull over. We will add further information as soon as a date to visit is confirmed.

Re: DCC BURRELL
Steve and dean.
If you could find out the paint colours on your photo taking mission it would be a great help to those of us using her as a basis for are own. When I asked jimmer marsh at Bedford he mentioned imitation gold as one used for the main stripe. The red and the other yellow are still unknown. The new owner may be able to shed light on this unless you can take a proper White balanced photo while your there.
I think I have a very close match but won't know till next season to compare.
However, with enough on your plate I'll fully understand if you can't.
Thanks
nick

Re: DCC BURRELL
Hi Tom i think the best idea if you want one ready to run would be to phone or email Steve or Dean i am not sure if they will be able to offer a DCC ready to run as seen as they have only just started the kits ie no parts to build the rest of the engine yet.
