We really hope that all the potential customers who have requested a 6" engine over and over again over the last few years now show their commitment by helping us build a decent order book. If everyone who has said they want one commits the first batch of 20 shouldn't hang around for long!
For an engine this size we feel it represents seriously good value for money especially when you consider 20% of the selling price includes the VAT which we don't get!!

Thinking of putting a deposit down. Will this be an exact replica or are there any changes planned and will this be faster on the road my 4" agri struggles to keep up.

Hi Keith

It won't be perfectly scaled up as there will be holes that nee to change due to thread sizes, plate thicknesses that are too thick or not thick enough etc. But the majority of it will be a 6" version of our 4". In terms of whether it will be faster or not, I am unsure, but I believe it will be a little faster than 4" just due to the size of the wheels alone. It still won't be as fast as the 4" Road locos, because the road locos obviously have the 3rd speed, but you should have more of a chance of keeping up.

Re the speed..

It wouldn't be to hard to fix... change the gear ratios.. That way you can have a nice speed for the field and a decent speed on road runs.

This is quite a common process on full size 2 speed engines when put on rubbers and new gears cut.

Yes it will. This time rather than having a single person seat, it will have a two person seat, I would normally recommend on the bigger engines having a steersman because as driver you have so much to concentrate on, and less of a view than you would have on the 4 inch.
