Re: Foden Kit 7
a few more parts made, steering shafts and nuts...
steering wheels now welded together. just need to mill them out for the new "bigger" handle boss...
and we have started turning the new handles. Steve thinks you can retro fit them to an old steering wheel by drilling out the old boss and tapping it to M8, so we will be making extra... PS: this is just a quick mock up

front wheel bearing dust caps. we have some "bought in" ones in stock (gold colour in the photo) but decided to make up the quantities by making our own...

Craig
Can we have some pics of the steering assy as the build sheets refer to ISO 2 but looking at this sheet does not show the steering joints at all.

Steve would be right then
My handle turned up the other day and today i finaly got to the foden to get the steering wheel off!
I bored the old boss out a bit and tapped it M8 and filed the boss a bit to get the handle to fit flush all round, it works very well the only thing i would say is if you are like me and cant drill sqaure and dont have a milling machine just take an extra few minutes to try and get the drill sqaure as my hole went a little bit on the piss and the edge of the boss is now a little thin!
Pic to prove it works on the old steering wheel
Cheers
