There is some very useful information on the Forum but dates back several years now. :Latest I can find is 2017. Seems to be some confusion that Boiler No. is not acceptable on the form
and that a VIN number is supplied by DVLA and has to be stamped on the engine.  Anyone done this in very recent times to avoid making fundamental mistakes on the form and
prolonging the process! Thanks! Very Happy

Hi
I have just registered my Road Loco and have received the V5 and registration number this week.

You need to email DVSA to ask for a Vin number and then make up a plate

details are on my thread under 4" DCC Road loco, Andy's road loco progress...........

if you have any problems message me and i'll provide more details

Hi Andy, Cannot see any info on your site re Registration. Grateful if you could email me on bryancgirling6557@gmail.com. Did you use V627/1 along with V355/4. V627/1 does not seem relevant?
