Bearing retainer Empty Bearing retainer

Have got my front wheels to the stage of putting retainer on the nuts holding the spokes. Opening the bag of retainer bottles I found one was a thread grade and the other a bearing grade. Should the bearing grade have been used on the bronze bearings when inserting them into the hub? (Nothing was said about this in the construction notes and it's too late now everything having been araldited.) And having cleaned off araldite that squeezed out when tightening up the hub covers I'm pretty sure there's some araldite holding the bearings in place giving some security.

Hi Andrew.
"Should the bearing grade have been used on the bronze bearings when inserting them into the hub?

In short yes that was the intention for the retainer, it stops the bronze bushes turning inside the wheel hub if they are a little loose.
Unless the bushes come out easily you should be ok with it as is.

It would be good to say this in the notes, even if it is pointing out the obvious...
