4" SCC build so far
Hi All, Over the past few years I've read and enjoyed other peoples posts so thought it was about time I posted some of my own pictures. Apologies for multiple posts but every time I tried to put more than one picture on at a time the website bombed me out??

Re: 4" SCC build so far
Thanks Tim, it's starting to look like a traction engine now.
I'm currently assembling kit 11C the cylinder fittings but finding it difficult to align all of the pieces to make the valves and the Pistons run smoothly, in the end I had to make some extra shims from an empty beer can, that's the end of no drinking in January then!
Cheers Simon

Re: 4" SCC build so far
Hi Simon
Yes its a bit of a job lining it all up, I think I have managed to get the valves - rods and weighshaft to line up pretty well but to get to that stage I did have to take 1mm off the bottom of the HP slide valve and 0.5mm off the bottom of the LP slide valve, a very very carefull bit of hand filing !!. but it had to be done to get it to move smoothly, not sure if they are all like this maybe its just mine.
I have started to assemble the slide bars etc but I think im goin to have to wait till ive been sent the piston rings before I can start lining it all up properley, its all good fun !!
Cheers Tim

Hi Chris
Please find below some larger images, again uploaded in multiple posts. Each time I try to upload more than one photo I keep getting bombed out of the website, what am I doing wrong?
Cheers
