New builder

Well after going to have a chat with Dean and Steve last night (many thanks it was very enjoyable), I finished the evening putting a deposit down on a C type 6" Foden

Just getting my garage in order now and then a week's holiday. Then will be getting kits 1-7 in a few weeks when 7 is ready. All the machines were pretty much working on Foden bits as of last night!

Its certainly an impressive size machine and looking forward to getting on with it.

I've chosen the main colour and the lining colours, just need to decide on chassis/underworks colours as I cant decide on red or black.

Think most of the paint is coming from Witham Oil and Paints, then maybe the cab colour from Craftmaster if I cant get a good finish with theirs.

Indeed welcome, I have gone for a black chassis with yellow lining on my 4.5 inch. I will probably use that for the upper works as well.
