2" Burrell Kit 19
Hi All,
Unfortunately we can not forsee being able to achieve despatch of this kit prior to Christmas. We are already working round the clock to complete the 4" Burrell and Foden kits due, and with the limited number of days and machine hours available a despatch is unlikely.
We are hopeful however, of being able to despatch a few items. These items will include the flywheel and the gear guards. This then will enable you to turn your engine over and also give you something to do like cleaning up and painting the guards during the Christmas break. We will sort out payment in due course.
Regards
Dean & Steve

Thanks for update, I have been checking the original 2" brochure trying to work out if we will, after this delivery, have any more bits which will require 'main colour' painting for want of a better word?
I have my engine in bits and primed or first coated awaiting getting all these main bits together to spray the lot in one hit. Once I can confirm this I can spray, line and assemble them.
Cheers,
Alan

Re: 2" Burrell Kit 19
Hi Alan,
As far as we are are aware, after this delivery all the parts that require 'main colour' painting will have been delivered. They might be the odd small item that could be done in the same colour still to be deliverd but all the main items you will have had.
I now know what you want for Xmas and what you'll be doing over the Xmas break.
Regards
Dean

Re: 2" Burrell Kit 19
Hi everyone.
We despatched a 'small' kit today. It contains the flywheel, and the two main gear guards including the brackets. Hopefully, they should be delivered on Tuesday.
Our last day at the works will be Wednesday, then we're back in the New Year on Jan 5th.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone
Regards
Steve

Flywheel
I have just been looking at my flywheel and have noticed that it has been machined off centre, in other words the spokes do not sit in the centre of the wheel they are offset to one side is as if too much has been machined of one side of the outer rim, is this correct or not??
If it is which side should face in or out

Re: 2" Burrell Kit 19
Hi Ian,
It's best to have the two grub screw holes facing inwards. This will determine which way round your flywheel goes.
All the best
