Engine Names.
As we move ever closer to completion I was wondering what names we have started giving our creations and why.
After several ideas I have decided to call my engine "His lordship"
A play on the fact my engine is painted in The President paint scheme and it's my nickname at work !!
I know Kev has chosen a similar mode of thought calling his "His Majesty" although i'm sure he's not called this as a nickname...
Brian's superb all black engine has been named " Black Beard"
A fitting name for the look.
so what other names have other chosen?

Re: Engine Names.
On our short list is Fiametta which as you may know is Latin for "Little fiery one" but not set on it yet, and there is plenty of time for us to finalise.
Re: Engine Names.
I am thinking many of the RLs have Presidential , lord, or king connections. So coming from the Welsh borders with Offas dyke running through the village. I am thinking of calling my RL "Offa" or King Offa.

Diane Carney
For those of you still wondering about names and also suppliers to get it made.
Here is my finished plate from Diane Carney.
Her work is first class.
The plate came un painted and raw edged. I finished it with a flat file and the grinding wheel.
if you have access to a milling machine it will be really easy.
Highly recommended.
