How many being built ?

Hi everyone just off down the shed to put top coat on my belly tanks. Does anyone know how many showmans/road loco's are being built ?

think it is about 50 of each.

I thought the batch was 50 in total not sure how its divided up though but I think about 20/30 in favour of showmans??

I think your right highpressure, but I also heard that another 20 are possibly in the offering due to interest. What would be good if that in 2years or so, we have a photo session at STW, now that would be a sight worth paying to see. All these engines in a nice neat row, I think that's a party in the making and all the tales we could tell each other plus the war injuries of building the engines we could show. I have two already that need a nurse to look (nearly as bad as man flu my injuries are; if you ask my wife)

total batch is 50, although some of the items that make up the two different types are being made 30/30. smokebox for example. so thats a total of 60 for some parts.

we are close to the point of selling the full 50, not sure what the showmans/road loco split is.

however, in the interest of keeping the business going, we are trying not to turn down any sales. so when the full 50 is sold, who knows how many more we will make ????

what's interesting would be to know who is building what on the forum with regards to the DCC? So here goes:

DCC - Showman
Name: Alexandra-Jane (after my daughter)
Wheels: Golden Yellow
Body: Red (same as Brian M)
Roof: Cut away when I get it.

I am sure STW can take us about the DCC ratio but not about the make up of the engine.

I hope my engineering and painting skills are better than my English it should have read tell us not take us - sorry

I would certainly come to an STW do . To see them all in a row would be a great marketing tool.

Name "His Majesty" (current agri is called "Prince" so has matured )
Colour Scheme As close to "The President" as poss.

Finsh - Working engine, definately not a museum piece
Driver - Me if I can get in front of my daughter and nephew
