hi to everyone, after having a year of buying things for the new baby I managed to buy a kit a couple months ago so 1 kit In a year is bad on the system, I see lots of people are spending time in the engine sheds which is good to see, some great pictures of some great engines (well done to all  Very Happy Very Happy ).
the first picture I messed up a bit on how I done the wooden cladding so I changed it all as u can see in the second picture.  mikes road loco - Page 2 Sam_1411

Hi.

Kit 20 for the weighshaft

Watch out if bringing new paint from outside to in. Condensate and soft paint don't go very well together.
Is the slot in the cleading where the belly tank to boiler go widened to the correct size due to belly tank bracket mods?

hi lynn ive had the cladding and paint stored in doors before I painted so it was all warm,
I fitted the cladding before painting as I had lots of problems with it, the bracket underneath what holds the belly tank up was way out so I had to do a fair bit of work to that to get it right so now it should all fit ok,
Is brasso ok to polish the brass bands

Looking good. I can't understand why the wife got upset as it seems a perfectly logical solution to me. I've been caught out with bringing stuff in doors early and sm more cautious now.

Once I've polished up on the mop in the bench grinder initially I've used Brasso, you may have to watch the adjacent paint though as it will polish through it obviously.

Thanks Mike, I was pleased with the result of the dynamo and extender myself.   Keep up the good work love the way your lining really pops out against the black, great choice of colours.

You should have seen the response I got after putting the front tyres in the brand new oven in the brand new kitchen in order to get some heat into them in order to stretch them onto the front wheels!!! affraid affraid affraid
