Filling boiler Empty Filling boiler

Hi everyone I’m having trouble filling the boiler by the pump I know the pump works ok and the clake works ok as that’s the way I fill up to begin with there doesn’t seem to be enough pressure behind the pump to get past the pressure in the boiler any help would be appreciated

I made a filling adapter to fill the boiler using the blowdown valve

Hi Mark I don’t have any problem filling the boiler it’s just when in steam the pump doesn’t seem to have enough umph to get past boiler pressure of about 40 psi

Your pump valve seats are your most likely problem and check your clack valve seat as well
