Evening,

Your help again please.

4" Agri again, the Blower Adapter, BU42038.

Two threads, one into the cylinder block and the other joins to a short copper pipe.

I found my thread gauge and the smaller thread into the block appears to be 1/4" 40 TPI and the other end onto the pipe 5/32" 32 TPI. But the adapter does not screw into the block, I think the thread into the casting may have a nick or burr and I would like to run the correct tap into the thread?

Can you confirm my findings or of course put me right, please?

Thanks again.

Richard.

Hi Richard

The end that goes into the cylinder is 1/4 x 40, but the globe valve end is 5/16" x 32.

Many thanks

Thanks Will, luckily I have 1/4 by 40 tap, I now have something to do this afternoon.

Best wishes.

Richard.
