Is any of those boilers for the burrell single cylinder agricultural?
The boiler is supposed to be the next physical kit after my next boiler payment. I was wondering if I will get one before or after Christmas?

i believe you will be getting one but i would suggest phoning the office if you haven't already spoken to someone to check.

this weeks photos...

its all hands on deck to get something out for most models this month.

the boilers are being produced at a very fast rate with harry working extra hours to make sure everyone promised a boiler gets one sent out...

and the machine shop is now working on the next lyka kit. im making a bracket...

kits all ready to go out next week include... new batch showmans and roadloco kit 2, Bu2 new batch kit 2 and anyone currently running out of the normal kit sequence should have a kit ready to go. also due in on Monday are the front wheel rims for the new batches of BU4 and SCC models. these will allow their kit 1 to go out before xmas

yes we do have photos this week I was busy yesterday finishing parts so didn't have time to post. This will probably be the last production update for 2018. next week we finish for Xmas on the Friday and usually spend the day giving the factory a good muck out (anyone who has seen it will know that it needs it ). i may get something up on the Thursday, but if so it will only be to confirm that the kits have gone.

The first bit of good news is that the first of the long awaited showman's generator kits has been dispatched !!!!

Roller kit 22b has gone

the new batch BU and SCC kit 1, front wheels, has gone ...



Showman's and roadloco new batch had their kit 2 and the "old batch" kit 16, ash-pan and cladding, is ready to go next week ...



The next group of boilers are all ready for the inspector, who is due in on Monday ....



6 inch foden customers will be getting kit 17, cylinder accessories. Although they have not yet had the cylinder we thought it best to continue with the rest of the kits to avoid falling to far behind. The cylinder block castings have been delayed by problems at the foundry and we have been promised them in the new year. they will be given priority when they arrive ...



all thats left to do on that kit are the pistons. these are being done as i type and the kit should go out on Tuesday



and finaly the next Lyka kit, Kit 15 is being finished, ready to go before the end of next week. we have put so much work into this so far that i am determined to get this out (or i will be knocking heads together ) All the machining is done, all thats left now is manual assembly of some levers and a tap...



the kit contains the main levers and quadrant and various handbrake and water system control parts...



not sure when this will go (hopefully Wednesday) but like i said, we are pushing hard to get it done

Got my showmans gen kit and many thanks the exciter is already in primer
Really looking forward to the final kit hopefully in January

Looks like you're pressure testing >10 boilers in one go. That's impressive.
