Road Loco Tender Kit

Hi all
I am just starting to paint the assembled Tender and bunker. There are 4 holes, 2 in each side of the bunker - not sure what these are for, can anyone enlighten me?

Are they something to do with attaching a seat? if i plan to have the bowser and seat, are these holes needed or can they be filled?

The holes will be for roof supports.
The seat hangs on the tender edge and pins in to the tow bracket

You may have noticed another mistry hole in the left hand side of the tender near the bottom. Do not be tempted to fill this one nether you will need it to attach the motion guard later, it comes before the roof but not much before.
