As promised (some time ago now) here are the images of the cylinder block cut into quarters in the NTET marquee at GDSF. Found this quite interesting and having had a good play with it I think I now understand how all the steam passages link up. I gather the new blocks are not the same as this, but I am sure you get the idea.
