Hi everyone. Anyone had the problem of thier eccentrics catching the steam pipes below when the crank is turned ?.

Yes mate. (On my build page you will see) it was a ball ache as I had to dismantle everything to get my sausage fingers inside and adjust.

Jim what was the final fix ?.....did you simply screw the elbow in futher?

Let's hope it's steam tight then as after speaking with Steve he indicated it was needed to get a seal on the threads....I'm with you though....don't see how you can provide enough clearace with the nut on.

I've kept the nut. When I run on air if it won't hold pressure then I will file nut so it's a bit thinner and try that. My eccentric misses the elbow by a very very small tolerance.
