hi there just put a deposit on a 4 inch scc new to this site what have i let myself in for regards tony

Welcome aboard Tony.
I'm now about half way through the SCC build and loving it. Even all those M3 rivet bolts on the belly tank which I have just finished assembly.
Remember, if in doubt, shout. There's usually someone on the forum who will have an answer, and of cause there's Steve at STW.

thanks for the replys i have been reading the forum a lot to get the gen so to speak a lot of people need to mill and use a lathe i have neither so will my engine never fit right regards tony

You don't need a lathe or mill, it's just that those that have them use them. A small belt sander & a Dremel will do any fettling to get things fitting nicely.
