2nd shaft tube assemble - kit 10

Hi,

Is it me or is the 2nd shaft assemble twisted. The holes on the left are not inline with those on the right and the Diff Lock Assemble doesn’t line up with the slot in the flange. Mine is about 2mm off centre.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Hi Phil, just a thought, have you mistakenly mounted it onto the water gauge bracket holes, which are further around the shaft.

No definitely using the correct holes. On further examination it looks like to 7 bolts holes that holds the flange on are off centre by a couple of degrees. I notice that if I bolt it to the hornplates they are twisted ( not both vertical).

I think I should contract Steve but would be interested to hear if anyone else has the problem.

Could get round it by elongating the four bolt holes on the other end of the shaft and file out the diff lock slot but its not right.

Definately a job for Steve. Very strange though, as i am assuming you had kit 10 the same time as me last week, so the would i thought came from same batch. Anyway, i hope alls ok.
