Wayshaft bracket allignment
Hi all,
I'm having a bit of an issue with the weyshaft bracket alignment. If I get it right for the piston slides the valve rod is too stiff. If I adjust it so the valve slides easily the piston is too tight. Just wondering if others have had this and how best to get around it?

Re: Wayshaft bracket allignment
Hi Ian I had great fun lining this up as well. As well as the adjuster screws I also slightly elongated the bolt holes on the bracket. This allowed me enough adjustment to get everything to line up perfectly, after a few hours of adjustment it now it turns over lovely.

It's a painstaking process to attach and line up. A few times I had to down tools and grab a beer as the thought of having to take it all apart to file off a few thou here and there was starting to grate.
Did you find that the plastic bushes were really tight?
