Tow Bracket
Hi all
I now have another problem
The tow bracket BU20712 won't fit between the tender and the two tow straps BU20714 / 13. All the bolt holes in the side of the tender line up with the tow straps, but It looks like the tow brackets are to thick to fit between the cap.
What is my next step ?
( I also dont have any lagre tools only hand tools)
Thanks
Stuart

Re: Tow Bracket
Hi,
Mine was like that but if you look at the inside angle of the tow brackets it is a rounded corner. All i did was file this corner square and it then fitted.
Hope this helps.
regards
Andy

I had the same problem, It's all to do with where the bend is on the towing straps, they only have to be a fraction out and the tow bar wont fit. The thickness of the bracket was too thick only by a couple of tho or so, but it was enough. I measured up what the gap between the inside of the towing strap and back of the tender was and sent the tow bars back to STW and asked them to reduce the thickness to fit. They did it no problem and everything was sorted.
