Spokes to hubs epoxy
Evening,
Sorry just posted on the 2" page, hopefully not stirred up some kind of rivalry!
I'm still cleaning spokes and rims so no rush for an answer but I have searched the forum for the answer, no luck though.
What is the favoured epoxy to use to stick the spokes and hubs together with, please?
Could one use JB weld as this is harder and can be sanded?
Cheers.
Richard.

I used Araldite rapid to glue my wheels together. I used JB weld to create the fillet around the T ring on one wheel, then used Plastic Metal for the others simply was what I could get.

Epoxy
You can use any slow set epoxy, either wait for it to go rubbery and trim off any surplus or if you have any acetone you can clean up with that. I wouldn't use JB weld for that as it's too stiff & you might have trouble getting everything flush.

Baby wipes do a good job of cleaning excess too, wrap one round a finger and away you go.
hope it helps

Baby wipes is what I used wipe off the excess before it goes rubbery, saves a lot of work once the adhesive goes hard.
