Road loco and wagons + E-drawings
Steve has asked me to post this picture of the new showman's/road loco wagons.
this is just to demonstrate how far the design is coming along. at the moment we do not have a true idea of cost as we need to send out for quotes on castings etc. this will be done very soon.
now that the topic has been started, Steve will (or rather will try to find time to) add more information including dimensions etc.
a series of "E-drawings" will be available. if anyone wants these please E-mail Steve and he will send you the files.
enjoy...

Re: Road loco and wagons + E-drawings
Now that does looks good! What is the overall lengh of the train according to CAD?
Also, how much space between the wagon front and the tender - it all looks close coupled on here. Just thinking of seating space.
Maybe I should have done "Blackbeard" in works grey instead of black
Just picked my new bowser up today (second hand) and the garage is getting rather full already. I will need to get creative with a couple of these wagons to store.

a quote from steve...
They will probably be done in two different lengths. A long one to attach to the engine and a shorter one (as drawn) to go from one engine to another. We will give a discount to customers who want to order 5 or more wagons!!!

I think I'm going to need a longer trailer to get to the rally field.

Steve
As these will be used to pull passengers will the wheels be on rubbers or steel strips?
Vulcanised option??
Thinking of my passengers teeth and backs
