TAP WRENCH AND DIE SET for Tender
Hello All,
I need to re-thread the holds on my tender (that POR 15 is good stuff, as it got through the tape and filler i used to cover the threads).
Before I rush out an d buy the taps, what sizes do I need, as I was going to re-tap all the holes on the tender?
Cheers,
Brian M

Hi Brian,
Does it not tell you of the P&F list that was supplied with the tender, looking on my Foden P&F list supplied with my water tank all the bushes & sizes were called off giving there BSP size,
Ian

Taps & Dies
Don't buy anything with Helfords on it!. Not even worth the scrap value.

Hey Brian, dont they put BSF and BA threads on Kawasaki superbikes? You must have access to the best tools out there, he he! Did you get wet at Knockhill??

Re: TAP WRENCH AND DIE SET for Tender
Hi Brian,
(Been on holiday , so I did not go ).
In BSB we always say, if you can see the mast on the hill (from the circuit) it is going to rain, if you can not see the mast it is raining (sorry Lynn ).
I managed to get the tap and pitch details from Steve.
All the best,
Brian M
