Motion covers or not?

Just been studying the photos that Craig posted of the President to understand the colour scheme and then had a look at my model by Midsummer models and noticed that the real one doesnt have motion covers but the model does. Is this because they have taken them off the full size? and are they going to be with the STW version?

There will be motion covers on our engine. The full size also had them but they had been taken off for boiler testing when we had the opportunity to take photo's.
