Great Dorset Steam Fair
Is anyone going to GDSF at the end of the month, and will STW be there.
Taken the week off so planning to be there every day at the moment with Tash coming down for the weekend so she can see ex-mayor and we can finalise colours.

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair
We'll be there, come and see us in Row E. Don't forget to tune into steam FM, we've splashed out on a radio advert!
The Showmans Control model has got lots of new bits on it. Well worth a visit to the stand. See you next week.
Regards
Steve

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair
Sorry guys the lorry is already full & close to maximum weight especially now the Showman's control model has been fitted with the valve gear, the generator casting & now all the gears.
Dorset is our biggest & longest show so we also have to take extra flyers etc so unfortunately taking any customers kits or parts is just not possible.

Glad to hear there will be plenty to see on the stand for us to see but I hope you have left room for the order books!!!
Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair
No worries, appreciate your probably well loaded, so can you have a word with the packing dept then, as last mail I got from Dean was my goodies were heading up to packing / despatch, and really can't steam Burrell without them...

Glad to see you got plenty of orders at Dorset and in the weeks running up to it, just goes to show what a cracking job you are all doing and the confidence there is out there in the market.
Well-done

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair
just to confirm.. Dorset was a huge success for STW. i cant remember the exact amount of orders taken but it was our best show to date and has helped to secure our future long past the current run of models
