Steve/Dean

Did any of you go to Harrogate exhibition last weeeknd? John Rexx stall had completed 4" DCC Road Locos for sale at just under £33k each. Also had SCC Road Loco and SC agricultural. Additionally, a 6" Foden was being offered too for just under £40k if I remember correctly.

Not necessarily competition but interesting to see the prices charged for a completed one and I know you are offering the supply finished engines on your website.

Cheers

Brian

It will be very interesting to see what level the market settles on for a completed STW 4" DCC Road Loco?

John Rexx Burrells Empty What's it worth?

I reckon the DCC Road Loco & the Showmans will be worth:

(a) With a cr*p paint job, the cost of the kits (so you would get your money back)
or
(b) With a great paint job, about £6,000 - £8,000 more (worth taking a bit of trouble then!)

That's a conservative estimate based on what actually sells and not necessarily what people ask.

Sounds fair to me, I am planning to get a professional to line mine out for me.
