Just a thought!
Hi All
Does anyone know of a 4" fairground organ kit? Or is this something STW may think about?

Re: Just a thought!
I have made my own MIDI controlled organ and have been considering if there might be a market for me to make something similar for sale. If you are interested let me know by PM and I can discuss details with you.
Heres a video of it playing

Re: Just a thought!
When we were at the Warwick Engineering Exhibition, where we ordered my Burrell in 2007, there was a bloke there selling kits to make a fairground organ with a CD player inside. Can't remember his name or company though.

I think you wil find an Organ is a waste of coal if you want to power something. Many years ago I started to plan a 4" scale fariground ride, a Waltzer. That is what a showmans engine was for, not a gloryfied jukebox
In fact, if you take a look at the website of Miss Whizz the signwriter who posts on Traction Talk, her dad is building a 3" scale gallopers and she is painting and gilding the model for him, that is what is needed!! Plus if you make the packing trucks you have something to pull.

Now where can I get a Pickfords trailer for the roadl loco like the one that Les Searle just completed the London to Brighton run with?

Re: Just a thought!
Has anyone seen anywhere offering plans for a cable drive Big Wheel? Have emailed the Eli Bridge Company in the USA who have been building them since 1900, but not had a reply.

Hullo Lynnr,
I was havin a wee butchers at the TOPSY organs, seem pretty straight forwards enough to build too, couple of expensive items in there such as the midi device and palm unit but otherwise they look pretty pukka.
