Name them bits!!
Just stopped for afternoon cuppa & decided to have a go at naming the wax patterns:-
1) Exciter base plate,
2)Commutator end casing,
3)Main body/stator casing,
4)fan casing,
5) Main generator base plate.
Just out of interest, is it going to be possible to actually generate power with this fine looking generator?
Could be fun winding lotsa little field coils & armatures!!!!

Showmans Generator
Well, I've just stopped again for my afternoon cuppa, & having just spoken to Isobel at STW on another matter, a voice in the background (Ian I think??) informed me that the generator is actually going to generate................... HOW UNBILIEVABLY COOL IS THAT!!!!
I am totally impressed.................... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bet you can't make little scale light bulbs like the ones that usually adorn the full size engines!! (Ha Ha Ha!!)
Keep up the wonderful work you do.
