Progress on the belly tank today.









Although I am doing the Road Loco I have ordered the star covers as well as I am going to design a monogram with my initials on the plain covers and then I can chop and change as the mood takes me.

Thanks Craig, It seems to be coming together well although a few months without stuff to line will be good as I still have both back wheels to sort after this .

However once the nessecary kits are here to strap the boiler in in the New Year it will be very pleasing to roll it out and just gaze at it....

Having got the castings last week my powder coaters were able to get them done just before shut done and now I have been able to line them so heres the assembled belly tank. Not exactly as the President but close enough so you wouldnt know without a reference photo and certainly good enough for me.

Cant wait to get the boiler here as it will look really good when all this hangs together.
