after the slow start on the new run of Lykas we are working ahead to prevent any more delays. work has already started on kit 2 and 3 parts. material has arrived for the wheel hubs and i'll be sorting the material for kit 6 tomorrow as this has lots of welding to be done

kit four hubs have now been powder coated, other kit four material is being ordered and we are still working on the very large kit six when we get the opportunity between other current production

almost finished drilling all the body sections ready for fabrication...





still working on kits 4, 5 and 6. 4 and 5 should be ready soon (if the completed wheels turn up).

then moving on to the next kit which is brakes

we got the wheels back this week so the next kit (rear wheels) is all ready to go. the front wheel kit is also ready to go and i believe you will be given the option to have both if you wish.

next month the spring kit and the body kit will be available. not actually sure how these are numbered anymore as originally the two sets of wheels were kit 4A and 4B but now they are kits 4 and 5 . the body kit was originally called kit 6 so im not sure where the springs will slot in, but they will be available.

the control model "body" went together last week.

we will soon be at a stage where we can get the springs done and then we can mate the body to the chassis. it should start looking like a real lyka soon

both springs and body kit will be available this month (July)

the UK spring kits went out this week and the body parts (now kit 7) are ready to go but we seem to be at the bottom of the priority list for the box suppliers, i guess thats one of the down sides of ordering small quantities.

next kits will be the brake calipers and pipework and then the boilers, although im not sure now many kit "payments" the boilers involve.
