Front Wheel Oilers
Hi People,
Apologies for the very basic question. If using the stock front wheel oilers, do you just pour the oil in and let it do its thing or do you use the wire and wool method?
Thank you
Stewart

Hi Stewart
Just put oil in the tube.
The bushes don't meet in the middle of the wheel creating a void for the oil to collect and work its way into the bushes as the wheels turn.
I put grease in the hub cap, it helps to seal the oil in the outer bush and stop it running down the front of the wheel and mess up the paint.

Re: Front Wheel Oilers
Only ever smeared grease on the front wheels of the agri, once a year would pull the wheels and wipe off the old grease and smear some more on and pop the wheel back on, didnt ever put oil anywhere near them, engines nearly 20yrs old now and no probs to date.
