s silicone sealant??
Hi,Does the sealant need to be Araldite between the hubs and spokes? I thought silicone sealant would work just as well as I assume its just to stop the ingress of water?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: s silicone sealant??
Hi Slash
The seal (epoxy) is primarily to stop water getting in and oil getting out.
Its second function is to fill any gaps between the spokes and the hub so that they look like they are cast as a single piece.
Silicon will remain flexible and has an objection to paint sticking to it.
I hope this helps you to make your decision.
