6" Burrell
Will,
Did I read that right, 6" Burrell, after all these years of me hassling Dean my dream has been answered?
What type of engine?
I best finish the one that I have first though.
Cheers
Richard.

Re: STW New Machine
Hi Richard
Yes, we are finally diving into the realms of 6" Burrells!! It will be a 6" version of our 4" agricultural (because we know the agricultural so well, we feel that without Steve to cast his eyes over the drawings, it is the safest engine for us to do). I have even started the process of scaling up the 4" agricultural's 3D model on the computer.
Thanks

Re: STW New Machine
I'm surprised you're going for a 6". A couple of weeks ago you said that the 6" Devonshire died a death 'cos the price would have been around £50k. Do you reckon the 6" Burrell will be significantly cheaper than that, or have people got more money now?
I'd still be interested, but probably might not be able to justify that kind of money.

To be honest Stu, until we dive in and try it we simply don't know, and we already have 4 others who are definitely planning on signing up, and just now in the office a visiting customer said he would be interested in it but needs to work out the logistics. We also regularly get people phoning up inquiring about the Devonshire with a view to having one. 6 inch engines are becoming more and more popular, so really we need to look at doing a 6 inch Burrell. We will have to wait and see if it comes off in the long run and if we get enough customers. Me and Dean are currently working with the people we get most of our castings from to start nailing down the kit prices.
Thanks
