I opted to have the box opening on mine. However, i had to drastically shorten the miniture nails, in the end I secured the hinges with arladite snd then but the shortened nails in after drilling some small pilot holes. Mike

I did think the nails were a little long. That is a good idea, just put the nails in for show rather than to hold the hinges on.
