Hi Charlie,

I am using a Beugler Lining tool, with the aid of a small brush and vinyl masking tape I am quite please with the results, but that was after a lot of practice and paint stripper Sad

I will post a few photos when can remember how to do it.

Hi Phil, maybe it was just me! For some reason I couldn't get on with it, straight lines wasn't too bad but trying to do the corners, on the hornplates and bottom of tender, I found it didn't work. The pen just kept sliding. And the paint was leaking out from the wheel. I ended up covered in paint!

I have now got some lining tape, so far it hasn't come out too bad, got to touch up the corners, which I did freehand, think it will look ok. After all it is a working engine and not a showmans lol!

Will be good to see some pics of your results.

I will post some when I'm happy with what I have done.

Hi,

I'm no expert but you could try thinning the paint a bit more or more air pressure or too close I think was another reason. Failing that Google paint orange peel.

Hope this helps

Also too slow and far away so paint is drying before contact.
