At least if any of the 'scratchbuilt is best' fraternity say that kits are no good, you will be able to advise them otherwise.

I'll be there weather permitting, sadly another 2 years before I can take an engine though.

We will keep an eye out for you, last year there was another STW/Modelworks engine there but I'm not sure whose it was, a very nice dark blue in colour but no cleading at that time.

Hi everybody

I'm coming from Germany to Tewkesbury just for the rally to chat and look at the models. Well and at the same time trying to convince Government to release the money to start the built Very Happy

See you there  bounce

Had a very pleasant first rally at Tewkesbury yesterday, a really friendly rally, lots of really nice engines and very good comments about mine and STW. A few issues, the regulator kept
sticking and the diff let me down bringing an early end to things.  Will have to take it apart to ascertain the problem.

Same here, very nice rally. Came all the way from Germany to this and did not regret a single minute spend to get there. Luckily the weather was brilliant on Saturday, much to see and many to talk to. Unfortunately time raced by much too quick. I hope to manage to be back next year.

Simon, sorry to hear you had some problems with regulator and diff, missed you on the final tour as I wanted to show your engine to my Misses, maybe next time, but she can still see the video, and I took some pictures too. In due time I will try and post some, still suffering from tunnel lag Very Happy

Greetings form Germany

Well done Simon, Iron Duke looks superb. Hope you got the diff issue sorted out and it was nothing serious.
