Crossheads and guides tight?
Anybody else had to do much to the crossheads and guides to get them to fit?
One fits but is a bit tight although think it will run in, the other seems to have no chance to go in there I'm going to measure it up when I get home again.
Obvioulsy there is no adjustment to take up any wear so want them as tight as possible from new.

Re: Crossheads and guides tight?
We also had this problem, one crosshead fitted but the other didn't, so we sent them back to STW and they re-fitted them for us

Re: Crossheads and guides tight?
I'm going to be somewhere near next week I think so will see about calling in
Thought it was just me!
My rings were also tight in the piston ring grooves on the HP I think it was.
Took some time to free the slot by filing. Hopefully they'll be ok.
