Telephone Lines 29th April 2014
Good Morning All,
Just making everyone who reads the forum aware that we have a BT Engineer coming in some time this morning to switch our 01327 301030 number back to BT.
This was supposed to happen TEN months or so ago and we've been using a diverted number for that long however after a lot of complaining about having to pay two bills (one to BT and one to the diverted line company) the switch over is supposed to be happening today. Even then BT have made a C*@K up as they've ordered us an PSDN line instead of an ISDN line. This is the third time they have done this however after speaking to a dozen different people every time we call up (around 1 1/2 hrs on the phone each time) and getting no where we've just decided to 'go with it' switch it over and if we then lose the line for too long play merry hell!!!
BT assure us we will be down for no more than 1/2 - 1 day, however a friend of mine who is actually the local BT engineer has said this is a load of balls (put politely!).
Please bear with us and we'll see what happens......fingers crossed it's a nice smooth transaction!!
