Hello!

Thought I'd post some pictures of my build, I've started with kit 7!

I've got a choice of 2 colours in mind: Black with the usual brass bits & maybe gold lining? Or Dreelan Crimson....after my favourite showmans engine  Very Happy 

As they arrived:

After some rubbing down (by hand):

Looking good John. Looks like you have the same issue as me with the beading; mine seems a tad too long before the bend and so is kicked out on the corner. Was planning on cutting out a section at the bend and blending back together again.

I would definitely go for crimson: Richard Wilcox Improved Engine Lake from Craftmaster (AKA Marshall Crimson) looks pretty good on a Burrell - but then I may be biased.
