What I've been upto today...

I'm on with making some new big ends, little ends etc but before this I wanted the big ends ground. This has proved a huge task to get the flywheel off, something i've been on with for months to get the key out. Finally got there today and with the key out it slide off easy as you like. Its unreal what a tapered key holds! I've had 20+ ton hollow jacks, 10kgs slide hammers all trying to get it out. Ended up drilling it out which as you can imagine isn't the easiest thing as it was 6" long.

Its also going to get a new high speed pinion which also needed the flywheel off.

I would hazard a guess at it not being off since new in 1926
