Southampton Maritime Festival
The official posters have been issued today. There will hopefully be a few steam engines here and rumor has it there may be a STW engine amongst them. As for me.......I'll be there working (sorry volunteering), hope to see some of you there.

SOUTHAMPTON MARITIME FESTIVAL
Hi all, we have just got the steam test and insurance thanks to STW for replacement pump. We had a regulator problem, it was really tight, problem was the front gland, so we drilled it out slightly and re-packed it, all is ok now , very smooth operation. Our first outing in steam will be the Maritime Festilal. As far as I know ther will be 5 full size engines as well as several steam ships. Regards David Watts.

Re: Southampton Maritime Festival
Welldone David, see you there. We have also got several Rolls Royce's coming on Sunday, several worth well over £2m including the one which should have sailed on Titanic, (hope im not incharge of parking those). and the Monday is Aston Martins's. Dunkirk Little Ships are arriving on the Sat morning with a special guest (can't say who) to open the festival. there will be a fly past of the Lancaster, and this is just some of what is going on. There are free vintage busses acting as transport (probably King Alfred Busses). It will be lots of fun for all the family so jump aboard a bus and come on down. As David said there should be plenty of steam, although last week some still have to confirm to get final numbers. Shieldhall will be there, and when I last saw her she was in Titanic colours, and I hope she will be in steam as well as I love to watch ship engines ticking over.
