Cleading - advice please

Can I ask for a little guidance from those ahead of me please? That is when is the best time to paint the cleading, is is a case of a trial fitting and then painting or wait for all the motion to be put on in case of scratches?

Try fit but wait until you have the weighshaft fitted as you may need adjusting before painting. I fitted and painted mine and when working on the motion just covered the cleading with towelling. No problem and no scratches.
