Draw bolt question

Guys
Having trouble with part number BU40313 draw bolt. It does not seem long enough. When the smokebox door is shut it will not engage with the draw bar. When looking down through the chimney base the draw bolt is only half way across the draw bar and nowhere near shutting. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you slackened it off enough to allow the hooked leg to engage? The bolt thread is not very far out of the second key when the draw bolt is engaged.

Thank's Tim, all ok now I had not assembled it in the correct order. I had assembled and tightened the handles on the bar first and then tried to close the door which of course did not work at all. Thank's again. Cheers Phil
