Re: Now for something completely different.
Looks good, only another 99 to go if you're going to make the full spec Topsy!! Jonhs plans can be a little taxing to follow but it's very satisfying to get to the point where it actually plays. Having made 8 or 9 versions now I must have made nearly 1000 pipes!! but I dont use Johns style for the current types as the pro versions sound cleaner but it will make a compact machine with a pleasant sound.

Will you be starting a new build thread on here then?
Good luck, should be finished by Christmas at your pace.

Hi Lynn,
Looking very productive, while awaiting your next engine kit!!
What sort of wood are you using to fabricate your pipes?
Regards,
Tony

Re: Now for something completely different.
I bought the same table saw, very good for the fine work, must have cut kilometres by now here!!! Where did you source the wood from, I have always found sourcing wood other than run of the mill pine types a challenge, the stuff from B+Q and others is crap.
Re: Now for something completely different.
Hi Kevin
Hobby Craft do the basswood in a good selection of size and thickness. We have about 50 planks of it and everyone is perfect quality.

Re: Now for something completely different.
Any progress on this?? Seems to have been quiet for a while.....
Re: Now for something completely different.
Hi Kev
Sorry for not posting. Progress on the organ is quite slow at the moment, between my lack of health and supplier issues. But progress has been made.
More pipes made, had to wait almost a month for wood then went to a small model shop in Nairn and he got the wood in 2 days at 1/3 more wood for half the price.
Waited until after Xmas to order the leather. So that has arrived now.
And the making of the bellows
