saw this up in michigan recently while on the way to niagara falls...thought Steve might be interested!

Thanks for posting the photo. I was aware of its existance, in fact I was in contact with the builder in the early days when I started doing the research for my version. He sold it to a chap in USA many years ago, well before I started building mine. For a 2" scale engine it was sold for quite a bit of money, I believe around £16k and that was about 20 years ago. He went onto build a couple of 1" scale versions of the same thing.

...its up for sale again if you are interested!! not sure how much it is going for but the guy who owns it has a whole collection of models, boats, cars, tractors etc and he is down scaling - it might be got at a reasonable price tho as he is looking for 'good homes' for all his stuff...
one big problem, its all in america.
